Physical and online

The same tools, in the room or on screen

Every metaFox deck exists as a printed card set and inside metaFox.online. Coach in person with the physical cards, online on the shared board, or blend both, without changing a thing about your method.

Each deck rests on the psychology it works with. You don't just learn what to do, you learn why it works, tool by tool, so you can adapt it with a client in front of you.

Example: coaching with the Strengths cards

To show how a single deck works, here is one tool up close: what it rests on, and how a Strengths session actually runs on the board.

The psychology

Character strengths, read through realized and unrealized use

The deck is built on the character strengths from positive psychology (Peterson and Seligman), read through Alex Linley's model of performance, use and energy. That second lens is what makes it a coaching tool rather than a personality test.

  • Realized strengths the client already knows and uses well.
  • Unrealized strengths that energize them but they rarely draw on, often the richest ground for growth.
  • Learned behaviors they are good at but that drain them, worth naming so they can lean on them less.

How a Strengths session runs on the board

1
Sort

The client sorts the cards into what feels like them and what doesn't, laying their strengths out where you can both see them.

2
Spot them in a real story

You ask for a moment they were at their best, then spot together which strengths were in play, moving each one from an abstract label to lived evidence on the board.

3
Apply an unrealized strength

You pick a strength that energizes them but stays on the shelf, and design one concrete way to bring it to the goal they came in with.

Why it works: naming a strength is nice; seeing it on the board beside a real story, then aiming an unused one at a live goal, is what turns it into change the client can act on. The same flow runs with any deck, this is just one deck shown end to end.
